Twin Cities' Tremendous! Entertainment and Cultural Jambalaya together have won two national Telly Awards for "Windows & Mirrors: Latin America." Cultural Jambalaya has earned six Tellys for its “Windows & Mirrors” educational series.
The Telly Awards is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, the finest video and film productions, and online film and video. "Windows & Mirrors" was recognized in the Non Broadcast Educational and Cultural category with the bronze award. The DVD was produced by Tremendous! Entertainment's Executive Producer Colleen Needles and Producer Kevin May. Tremendous! Entertainment is the creator of the Travel Channel's wildly successful "Bizarre Foods" featuring Andrew Zimmern.
“Cultural Jambalaya and I share the same values about our place in the world,” said Andrew Zimmern, James Beard Award-winning host and co-creator of Travel Channel’s wildly popular ‘Bizarre Foods.’ “We both have a sincere appreciation and respect for all cultures, which I believe is illustrated in our work. Cultural Jambalaya uses Gail’s photography to show us the relevance of the world, and I achieve the same thing by telling stories through food exploration. Both aim to provide creative insights into the fascinating cultures that make up our rich global community.”
